Credits and top-ups

Understand Servor AI credits — how the AI copilot consumes them, how they're billed, and how to buy top-up packages so your team never runs out.

The AI copilot runs on credits. This page explains what credits are, how the copilot uses them, and how to buy top-up packages so your team keeps working without interruption.

Credits are an AI-plan thing

The AI copilot and credits are available on the AI plan (and Enterprise). If you don't see credits, check your plan — the copilot isn't included on Free or Operations.

What credits are

Credits are the fuel for AI copilot usage. Every time the copilot works on a task — answering in Ask mode, proposing steps in Plan mode, or executing in Auto mode — it uses the underlying AI model, and that usage draws down credits. Credits are billed at real token cost, so you pay for what the copilot actually processes, nothing more.

Longer conversations, larger command output and bigger tasks use more credits than short, focused ones. See Credits and usage for how consumption maps to what the copilot does.

Where to see your balance

Your current credit balance and recent AI usage live in Settings → Billing, alongside your plan and seats. Check here to see how fast you're spending and whether it's time to top up. See your credit balance in Servor

Buy a top-up package

When you need more credits, buy a top-up package — a one-off block of credits added to your balance on top of what your plan includes.

Open billing

Go to Settings → Billing. Billing is an admin/owner area — see Roles and permissions. Open billing in Servor

Choose a top-up package

Pick the credit package that fits how much AI work your team does.

Confirm the purchase

Pay through Servor's built-in checkout. The credits are added to your balance and are ready to use right away.

Top-ups vs. your plan allowance

Your AI plan comes with an ongoing credit allowance. Top-ups are extra credits you buy on demand — perfect for a busy incident week or a big migration — without changing your plan.

Running low or out of credits

If credits run low, top up from Settings → Billing before you're blocked. If you run out, the copilot pauses until you add more — your servers, monitors and status pages keep running normally; only the AI copilot needs credits.

Only the copilot spends credits

Credits are exclusively for AI copilot usage. Running commands yourself in the web terminal or via Run commands, monitoring, and status pages don't consume credits.

Frequently asked

Do credits expire?

Your balance is shown in Settings → Billing — check there for your current credits and any details specific to your account.

Who can buy top-ups?

Admins and owners, since it's a billing action. Members and viewers can use the copilot (members) but can't purchase credits.

What's the difference between credits and seats?

Seats are per-person and part of your subscription; credits are consumed by AI usage and topped up separately. They're billed independently.
